Analysis:

This little burrito joint is tucked away in Glen Park, in a safe-zone from the Mission hustle-bustle and yuppie traffic. Don't let its remote location fool you, though, business is lively as can be at La Corneta, and after a mouthful of their burrito, you'll understand why.

With everything from steak-and-prawn quesadillas to British Columbian grilled salmon, it's hard to imagine that La Corneta can give their burritos much attention. But alas, even overshadowed by the more exotic menu items, the La Corneta burrito is the little stepchild that could.

Perhaps the best part of this burrito is the craftsmanship. A perfect ratio of beans, meat, and veggies, the La Corneta 'rito is like a little edible masterpiece by Antonio Gaudí. The colorful veggies practically scream freshness while the beans, plump and ripe, beckon your taste buds closer. The beauty, elegance and sophisication of La Corneta's burrito is well-worth the hike out to Glen Park.

Reader Comments:

"Quality Veggie Burrito" Score: 8.5
"La Corneta has excellent veggie burritos for a fair price. It never fails to amaze me how they can roll up the tortilla with all that goodness piled so high.

Another great bonus - the chips and unlimited salsa are quality."—Mundi Morgado

"Wild habitat of the endangered piscis burritus! See and enjo" Score: 8.6
"These many years I have spent conducting field research have--at last!--resulted in my joyous discovery of the fish burrito at La Corneta. Well worth waiting in line while they forget to put your fish on the grill. This burrito brings to fruition my hopes and dreams. Also distracts the eater from meaningless employment, typos in the San Francisco, and nuclear hipster families."—prof. spessartite
