You may be one of those Mission-snobs who orders your burrito using bad Spanish and who considers any Mexican food that doesn't come from behind a smokey glass counter "bogus". Well I say, "¡Pipe down, señor, we're all amigos aquí!"

Although the sign outside the upper Haight's Sweet Heat clearly reads, "Healthy Mexican Food," the menu appears to actually be some kind of Mexican-Carribean fusion. But like Ashton and Demi, it's a match that scores points for originality. "Calamari burrito?! Jerk chicken burrito?! Why, that's insane!", you may cry. But rest assured, if you're hankerin' for a slight twist on your everyday standard, try out one of these unique creations and you won't be disappointed (The calamari burrito is a delightful soft-n-crunchy experience). Bump up the score a notch for three different kinds of hot sauce, the extra-rich tortilla chips, and tasty margaritas.

Sure, Sweet Heat's offering may not be the most "auténtico", but neither is your accent, gringo. —Burrito Joe, Burritobot Editor-in-Chief
