About the rating system

Analysis:

First off, like any good taqueria, the folks at La Cumbre grill the carne asada in plain, enticing sight, with a taste that will nor disappoint. If you're a meateater, don't waste your time with the heat-table meats, go for what brought you to the counter: the robust, alluring smoke from the sizzling grill. Otherwise, prepare to be disappointed.

I'm sorry to say that vegetarian burrito is a tad underwhelming. The beans and rice were passable, but sadly just filler, the salsa was uninspired, and the guacamole soupy and messy.

La Cumbre may be the oldest taqueria on the block (in the city?), but until burritobot adds an "OG" category to its rating system, we'll have to disregard that factoid and go with our gut. La Cumbre, while enjoyable and hearty, is unspectacular, situated pleasantly in the background of its neighboring, more adolescent Taquerias.
